In the lush highlands of Ethiopia, Kaldi noticed his goats dancing with energy after eating red cherries from a mysterious shrub. That discovery would go on to change the world forever, giving birth to what we now know as coffee.
At Kalid Coffee, we carry that same spirit of curiosity, discovery, and passion. Our name pays tribute to Kaldi, the first to uncover coffee’s magic, and honors the deep roots of our homeland Jimma, Choche, the birthplace of the coffee plant itself.
